Blackboard door panel

Today my task was to create a notice board for reminders, shopping lists and nice messages to check before leaving the house. This will help us remember school books, football kits and reminders about turning off the iron etc.. ☺️

Materials: 5mm panel board, saw to cut to size, blackboard paint, paint brush, screwdriver or tin opener to open paint tin, small wood screws, screwdriver, drill, imagination. 

Coloured or white chalk to write with. 

Lay out the board for painting 

Tools 

Ready to go - shake paint pot before use 

Cover any areas for paint spills 

Leave to dry 

Drill holes for screws in each corner, mark out in door and screw into place 

Easy peasy 

Ready for tomorrow's messages...
